Florida extends voter registration deadline

The Florida deadline for voter registration is extended until 7p.m. today. The Deputy Supervisor of Elections tells us, the online registration portal crashed last night shortly before the midnight deadline.

According to the Secretary of States Laurel M. Lee, the site received a remarkable 1.1 million requests per hour before the crash. TV 20’s Titilayo Okuwa tells us more.
